Dec.1.2010 LOOKING PAST THE PAINTING
The paintings by Picasso are very neutral, almost like they are sad, but some of them look like they are waiting for something or someone, I think Picasso was very into his paintings, and maybe painted his life. He was a amazing artist, and always will be, I admire his work, and in a way it makes me smile, there is a connection between the paintings and me, and I sometimes feel what he might have felt while doing them. I will never be able to paint like that, I would love to though, but I sometimes wonder, what is life like, because all the pantings in the video had a sad expression on there face, so maybe at the time, being forced to stay home and paint, he was sad.
Patel is a very spiritual man, and he believes in doing the right thing, I agree with him, I agree that we can make this world of war into peace, when he told the crowd of when he was in school, and he saw some boys bullying another boy, it make him and I think that do we have a chance in making this world right? can we change people for the better? It is acutely quite sad that there are mean people in the world that bully and kill, and do all sorts of nasty sins. I have experienced being bullied, and I can tell you, it is not nice, it makes you feel bad abut yourself, and the interview made me think, will we change, because I know people can, I think it is good that Patel is following his heart and doing what he thinks is right.
When Ted talks about his music, and why he is not allowed to play, it makes me think, what a loss, because when music is played it makes people happy, and that is what we need in our world. I can't believe that people have to stay behind a bar when they have secret concerts, and why are they secret anyway? It seams as if the government don't want anyone to be happy, and they want everything to be under control and in there order, well I think that this is very unfair, because what if people wanted to hear music, what if the musicians wanted to play it for them, why do they have to do it secretly, I am thankful that I will never have to experience fear or worry like that, because they are playing illegally, so I would be very scared if I where doing something like that, but I am glad it hopefully will never come across to me.
Nov.12: FATMIRE'S JOURNEY TO FORGIVENESS Fatmire's story inspires me to think about forgiveness and what it really means to forgive, he story has chanced my way of thinking and acting in life, I think we need to be more life her, and help people in anyway we can. She lost her family, but has carried on and done something with her life, even thought she is in pain, when I heard this story I was so sad, I could tell that she was devastated and did not want to tell us this, but I can tell that she is a very strong woman, and I would love to follow in her footsteps. I love how she has made a difference in the world and put her best into helping it, she is truly an inspiration.
This book is an inspiration to me, because it tells a message to all that read it to be glad to be alive and not doubt it. It is about a boy called Sam, and has been diagnosed with leukemia, and decides to write a book about death and everything he wants to do before he dies.
I found it very hard to read because it was so sad. If you like emotional deep books, than maybe you should read it. We all need to think about how precious our life is, because in this story Sam doesn't have much time left. This book makes me want to live my life to the full, and have fun with it, the writer, Sally Nicholls http://www.sallynicholls.com/books/ways-to-live-forever/ wrote this book about Sam and what he wanted to do, while doing the same things as him. She wrote this book about her expereances disguised as another person in the story.
