Lit circle discussion.

We are currently reading Thunder Cave, we talked about what we liked and disliked, Ivan said that he liked the part when Supeet was stung by a Cobra, and I said that was my favorite bit too, but James said that he liked the part when Jacob was captured by Donavon. We all thought that our least favorite parts was when supeet was chanting and they where in the cave. One of the questions was James one, he said "would Jacob of lived if he hadent meet supeet?" I said that he might no because he dosent know how to handle Lions or Tigers and other wild life, and he could of died of dehydration.

Humanities Desciussion

I am reading thunder Cave at the moment and me and my group talked about the important things and what we liked and disliked about the chapters we had read. I said that I liked the bit when Jake got ill, because it made you think that he might not be able to find his father if he continues to be ill, my other members agreed with me. Ivan said he didn't like the stampede, I thought that that bit was OK, but James didn't like it. We all thought that it was important when Jake meets Supeet, because it create a friendship between Jake and Supeet, and it also means that the is more then one character in the story. I thought it was important when Supeet teaches Jake how to live on his own. This was important because it make you learn more about Supeet and it made me more familiar with the surroundings in the story.

Our book is called Thunder cave. when we did the discussion, Sam talked about his favorite part in the story, it was when Jacob got his bike stolen and then he got beaten up. We all agreed with his awswer. Another part was when I said i liked the part when he cot ill , because the writter discribed it so well that it felt like you where ill too! Iven said thet he liked how the chapters where written and what they where about. James said he liked when he got to the airport and he was taken to a room to check his bags. Thunder cave!

The book I am reading is about a boy called Jacob and what his life was like
, his mum and dad has split up so him mother is now with a man called Sam, and his father is in Kenya stuydding the Eliphants. When Jacobs mother is killed in a car accident, he and Sam are all alone and Sam dosent know what to do with Jacob, Jacob wants to know where him father is so he askes his dad's friend Bill, Bill said that he dident know where he was and that he might be in danger, Jacob was all alone with no mum and no dad, what is going to happen to Jacob, is him dad still alive? what will Jacob do to find his father?
